Network Sales Incorporated (NSI) was formed in 1996 and started doing business from a 10,000 sq. ft. rented warehouse in Washington, Missouri. In 1998, NSI purchased a 21,000 sq. ft. building and relocated the business to the current facility in St. Clair, Missouri.

From 1996 to 2001, NSI's sales grew slowly, despite their expanded inventory. In the beginning of 2002, NSI started a program of management, marketing, and purchasing changes with the positive anticipation of growth.

NSI has completed many of these changes and is now growing rapidly. Inventory quantities and part application coverage increased. In 2004, NSI added an additional 12,000 sq. ft. building increasing warehouse space by 50% to 33,000 sq. ft.

In 2005, NSI purchased and moved the offices from the warehouse building into a 15,000 sq. ft. office building located adjacent to the existing warehouse buildings. This new office building allows NSI ample room for future growth.

In 2006, NSI continued their expansion, by adding an additional 21,000 sq. ft. of warehouse space bringing the total warehouse space to 54,000 sq. ft.

In 2007, NSI dramatically improved their Web presence and has added the capability for customers to: view inventory levels online, see pictures of all of NSI's parts, obtain part pricing and to do online ordering.

In 2010, NSI began using rented offsite warehouse space to handle some of their ever increasing inventory.

By 2013, NSI was once again running short on warehouse space and purchased a 162,000 sq. ft. offsite facility in New Haven Missouri bringing total available warehouse space to 216,000 sq. ft.

At the end of 2013, NSI purchased and merged with Brake and Wheel Parts, better known as BWP, formally located in Chicago. All of BWP's inventory and shipping has been moved to NSI's facilities in Missouri. This acquisition greatly expanded the variety and quantity of stocked parts at NSI The company is now going by the name BWP-NSI.
